The IT Eco Declaration helps the private and public sectors in making ecologically sustainable choices for IT and telecom products. The IT Eco Declaration includes information on the environmental practices of the manufacturer as well as product features, such as environmentally conscious design, batteries, acoustic noise, electrical safety, energy consumption, chemical emissions, materials used, and packaging.

Declarations are available for about 80 percent of the IT companies on the Nordic market. Included on this site is contact information for those companies. The IT Eco Declaration will be helpful to purchasing professionals for procurement or environmental certification in both the private and public sectors.
