Federal Electronics Challenge: Electronics Environmental Benefits Calculator
This complex calculator, developed by the University of Tennessee, Abt Associates and Dillon Environmental Associates, assists organizations in estimating the environmental benefits of greening their purchase, use and disposal of electronics.
Users can input their organization's data to determine savings in energy use; changes in recycled materials use; potential savings in CO2 and reduction greenhouse gas emissions; savings in air and water emissions; reduction in toxic materials use; savings in municipal solid waste generation and hazardous waste generation; and savings in cost.
