The Center for Clean Products and Clean Technologies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, uses environmental design and manufacturing processes to prevent pollution. The center develops, evaluates, and promotes cleaner products and cleaner technologies. The center targets specific sectors -- such as the automobile, electronics, and printing industries -- to establish how those manufacturers and their products can be more sustainable.
