This document, part of the Federal Electronics Challenge program, explains how certain types of leasing arrangements can aid federal agencies in procuring greener electronic equipment and meeting environmental goals. Federal Electronics Challenge is a voluntary program that encourages federal facilities and agencies to purchase greener electronic products, reduce impacts of electronic products during use, and manage obsolete electronics in an environmentally safe way.
